Seven arrested after police raid in Hulhumale spa

The police have arrested seven people in a raid on a spa in Hulhumale’.
Police said the raid on the spa was carried out after police intelligence received information that the spa was acting as a front for a prostitution ring.
The seven people arrested in the case include three Maldivian women, one Maldivian man, and three Thai women.
All seven cases were presented for remand at the Hulhumale Magistrate's Court, which ordered the three Thai women to 10 days, the three Maldivian women to seven days and the Maldivian man to five days in police custody.
The case is under further investigation by the police.
