Chief Spokesperson at the President's Office, Heena Waleed, has assured the public that the Rasmale' Project, a key housing initiative pledged by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, will be realized. Speaking at a press conference held on Wednesday, Heena reiterated the administration's dedication to addressing the nation's housing needs.

In response to questions from journalists, Heena emphasized that providing adequate housing is one of President Muizzu's top priorities. She noted that the President had initially aimed to include the Rasmale' Project, which plans to construct 30,000 housing units, in this year's budget. However, the previous Parliament had not allocated funds for the project, delaying its implementation. Despite this setback, Heena reaffirmed the administration's commitment to moving forward with the project, stressing its importance in fulfilling the community's housing needs.

The Rasmale' Project is a significant part of President Muizzu's broader agenda to ensure affordable housing for all citizens, and the government remains focused on securing funding and initiating the project as soon as possible.

Also present at the press conference was Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, who provided updates on ongoing initiatives within the Ministry. He highlighted several significant projects, including mosque construction, Waqf development, and other key efforts aimed at supporting religious and community welfare.

The press conference is part of the administration's ongoing effort to keep the public informed on the progress of various government initiatives across ministries and agencies.
