Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has initiated in-house training programs for staff in their Fuel Services Department, focusing on enhancing the technical knowledge and skills of the operational team.

The first sessions of the program will cover quality control and into-plane operations, with future sessions planned to include depot operations and maintenance.

Previously conducted with the assistance of foreign consultants, these training sessions are now being delivered in-house by senior officials from the Fuel Services Department. MACL's Learning and Development Department has approved the programs, ensuring that the training manuals and trainers meet international quality standards. These trainings are specifically designed to equip staff with the necessary skills for fuel services at Velana International Airport (VIA).

MACL's CEO and Managing Director, Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, along with Deputy Managing Directors Mohamed Lamaan and Mujuthaba Latheef, visited the fuel farm at VIA to observe the training sessions in progress.
