President inaugurates the "Malé Fahi" Programme

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has officially inaugurated the "Malé Fahi" Programme at Dharubaaruge tonight.
This programme is an initiative of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation that aims to effectively address the congestion caused in the greater Malé region due to the increase of land vehicles occupying the streets.
The program has been divided into three major components. These include automobile registration through rules and regulations, limiting the number of vehicles, enhancing and developing public transportation facilities, and making roadways safer, easier, and more tranquil for pedestrians.
Following the inauguration of the "Malé Fahi" Programme the President also launched a book titled as "Malé Fahi" Programme.
The Programme was designed by the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation under the President's direction.
