President conveys condolences to the family of Late former Minister of Public Safety

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu conveyed his condolences today to the family of the late Abdul Hannaan Haleem Dhoshimeyna Kilegefaan, who served as the Minister of Public Safety (equivalent to the current Minister of Defence) for 10 years during the administration of former President Ibrahim Nasir Rannabandeyri Kilegefaan (G.O.D.R.G).
In a message posted on the social media platform X, President Dr Muizzu extended his condolences to the deceased's family, stating that his passing was a significant loss to the country. He expressed sincere condolences to the family and prayed to Allah Almighty (SWT) to grant Abdul Hannaan's soul eternal peace in Jannah.
Abdul Hannaan Haleem passed away today at Treetop Hospital while undergoing medical treatment. He was 87 years old at the time of his passing.
The late Abdul Hannaan Haleem has also served as a member of Parliament.
