BML completes the upgrade of Home for People with Special Needs in K. Guraidhoo Island.
The project announced as part of the Bank’s 40th anniversary is now completed with a fully functional industrial kitchen setup with equipment, food storage and an outdoor area for food preparation.
In addition, staff areas were revamped with lockers, toilets and tea rooms dedicated for male and female staff separately. A small library corner was also established for patients and staff.
As part of the project, BML also donated essential equipment required by the Home such as beds, mattresses, sofas and chairs to equip the wards.
