The Criminal Court has sentenced 43-year-old Ahmed Abdul Hadi to 25 years in prison and imposed a fine of MVR 100,000 after finding him guilty of diamorphine (heroin) trafficking.
The verdict, delivered on May 18, 2026, penalizes the resident of Alamaage in N. Miladhoo under Section 105 of the Maldives Drugs Act (Act No. 17/2011).
