The Standard Maldives Unveils Eid Al-Adha Celebration Programme

The Standard, Maldives has announced a special Eid Al-Adha celebration programme featuring cultural performances, themed dining experiences, wellness activities, and island entertainment.
The resort said the festivities, taking place from May 27 onwards, are designed to combine Maldivian traditions with modern island lifestyle experiences in a vibrant beachfront setting.
Celebrations will begin with a Maldivian inspired Eid welcome lunch at Kula restaurant, followed by the “Sip & Splash Pool Party” featuring Bodumas performances and traditional Maali dances at the resort’s main pool area.
Guests will also be offered a variety of alcohol free festive drinks across the resort throughout the celebrations.
Evening events include a Surf & Turf dinner experience at Kula and traditional Boduberu performances at Todis Bar. The resort will additionally host a beachside Shisha Lounge experience featuring Arabic coffee and premium shisha offerings.
On May 28, the resort will host “Bodu Eid,” focused on showcasing authentic Maldivian culture through seafood dining experiences and Arabic inspired beachfront dinners.
The programme will conclude with a “Cinema Under the Stars” beach movie experience for guests.
Alongside the celebrations, The Standard Spa will offer special Eid wellness treatments from May 24 to 31, including hammam rituals, massages using frankincense oils, yoga sessions, and healthy drink workshops.
The resort said the programme is aimed at offering guests an immersive Eid experience combining relaxation, cultural connection, and modern island hospitality.
