Sun Siyam Iru Fushi has been nominated for the 2026 Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, one of the travel industry’s most recognised awards programmes.
The nomination follows a series of enhancements introduced at the resort, including redesigned overwater villas, upgraded dining experiences, and expanded personalised guest services.
According to the resort, guests can now experience a 24 hour Premium All Inclusive Dine Around concept, offering a wide selection of dining options combined with signature Maldivian hospitality.
Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing Pasan Wijewardana said the resort has focused on redefining contemporary Maldivian luxury through thoughtful upgrades and guest centred experiences.
He noted that the resort’s culinary offerings now include menus curated by Michelin starred chefs alongside curated wine selections, while the spa combines Maldivian wellness traditions with Ayurveda and family friendly wellness experiences.
The resort also highlighted family focused benefits, including children staying and dining free, as well as multilingual butler services for guests seeking a more personalised stay.
Voting for the awards remains open until June 30, 2026.
