BML Opens Applications for Bank Fund 2026

Bank of Maldives has opened applications for the Bank Fund 2026, its annual grant programme aimed at supporting registered NGOs and clubs across the Maldives in implementing sustainable community projects.
Now entering its third consecutive year, the programme will provide MVR 200,000 each to five selected projects under the categories of education, environment, sports, and community development.
According to the bank, the initiative is part of its continued commitment to promoting inclusive growth and strengthening civil society initiatives throughout the country.
BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef said the Bank Fund reflects the bank’s dedication to empowering local organisations to transform innovative ideas into meaningful community benefits.
Since its launch, the programme has supported nine NGOs in carrying out projects focused on addressing local challenges and community needs.
Registered NGOs and clubs in the Maldives are invited to submit application forms and project proposals via email before 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
