Ooredoo Maldives has added a new dimension to this year’s Mas Race with the launch of the Mas Race Digital Game on the Ooredoo App, allowing fishing fans across the country to experience the excitement of the competition virtually.
The game, introduced alongside Mas Race 2025 events, will remain live until 3 September 2025 at 23:59, giving players the chance to join the action anytime, anywhere.
In this digital version, players can choose their favorite real-life Mas Race 2025 team, tap to catch fish, and score points to climb the leaderboard. Each fish caught earns one point, and players can continue accumulating points throughout the competition period.
To make the challenge even more rewarding, premium fishing gear from Hai Fishing Tackles – the Maldives’ leading fishing tackle shop – is up for grabs:
- 1st Place: Daiwa Saltiga 2025 Reel
- 2nd & 3rd Place: PIO Ultimate Sea Spirit/Gangster (H/D) Rods
“This digital experience brings Mas Race to a wider audience, making it possible for everyone to be part of the excitement, even off the waters,” Ooredoo Maldives stated. “It’s another step in building digital experiences that celebrate our culture, traditions, and love for fishing.”
As the official tackle partner, Hai Fishing Tackles continues to provide premium gear from leading global brands such as Daiwa, Penn, Abu Garcia, Yo-Zuri, Zenaq, Jigging Master, Okuma, and Pioneer. Their own house brand, Rankaru, has also become a trusted favorite among local anglers, with an upcoming e-catalog set to showcase an extensive product range.
Fishing fans across the nation are invited to join the action, represent their favorite team, and test their tapping skills to claim the top spot on the Ooredoo Digital Mas Race leaderboard.
