Maldives and Palestine Sign Anti-Corruption Agreement at Integrity Forum

he Anti-Corruption Commissions of the Maldives and Palestine have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fight against corruption.

The agreement was formalized during the Saudi-Maldives International Forum on Integrity 2025. Representing the Maldives, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) President Adam Shamil signed the MoU alongside Dr. Raed Mahmoud Radwan, Chairman of the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission.

According to the terms of the agreement, the two bodies will collaborate in several key areas, including mutual support for anti-corruption efforts, sharing of information and best practices, joint training initiatives, and the provision of technical assistance. The commissions have also agreed to participate in each other's relevant activities and events moving forward.

Officials say the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing transparency, integrity, and accountability through international cooperation.
