22 Sri Lankan Army Soldiers Injured in Bus Accident

A bus accident near the Manamala Junction on the Nittambuwa-Kirindiwela Road has resulted in 22 Sri Lankan Army soldiers sustaining injuries. The incident occurred when the bus, which was transporting the soldiers from Nittambuwa to Kirindiwela, collided with a lorry traveling in the opposite direction.
According to the Sri Lanka Police, the crash left the soldiers, including the bus driver, injured. All 22 individuals were immediately taken to Wathupitiwala Hospital for medical treatment.
As of the latest updates, 20 soldiers have been discharged after receiving treatment, while one soldier and the bus driver are still receiving medical attention. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
