Liverpool One Win away from Premier League Glory as Alexander-Arnold Sinks Leicester

Liverpool edged closer to securing the Premier League title, as Trent Alexander-Arnold came off the bench to net a late winner in a tense 1-0 victory against Leicester City on Sunday. The result confirmed Leicester's relegation, ending a turbulent season for the former champions.
With Leicester needing a win to delay their drop from the top flight, they managed to keep Arne Slot’s side at bay for much of the game. But their resistance was broken in the 76th minute, when a chaotic goalmouth scramble saw the ball fall kindly to Alexander-Arnold, who rifled it into the net.
The win means Liverpool are now just one victory away from clinching a record-equalling 20th English league title. They could be crowned champions as early as Wednesday, if Arsenal fail to beat Crystal Palace at the Emirates.
Should the Gunners pick up points, Liverpool can still seal the title on home soil next Sunday, when Tottenham Hotspur visit Anfield.
For Leicester, the loss was the final blow in a dismal campaign. They have now failed to score at home since December, and nine straight defeats at the King Power Stadium under Ruud van Nistelrooy have sealed their fate.
The victory and clean sheet underscore Liverpool’s resurgence under Slot, with a title triumph now tantalisingly within reach.
