Ooredoo Maldives has announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to introduce Google Workspace — Google’s industry-leading suite of productivity and collaboration tools — to businesses across the Maldives.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in Ooredoo’s efforts to accelerate digital transformation among local enterprises, offering access to global-standard tools that enhance efficiency, connectivity, and data security.
Google Workspace combines essential applications such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Meet, and Chat, allowing teams to collaborate seamlessly from anywhere. The cloud-based platform offers real-time collaboration, secure file storage, and advanced administrative controls, enabling organisations to streamline communication and operations.
Ooredoo Maldives stated that businesses adopting Google Workspace will gain access to professional business email, integrated cloud security, and local technical support, with flexible pricing plans designed to meet diverse organisational needs.
Commenting on the initiative, Ooredoo Maldives CEO and Managing Director Khalid Al-Hamadi said the partnership aims to empower local businesses to grow and compete in the evolving digital economy.
Ooredoo’s Chief Business Officer Rajesh Mehta added that the company will provide customised Workspace solutions, leveraging Ooredoo’s ICT expertise and global technology partnerships to deliver end-to-end support.
