The Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has officially opened a new MAS FIHAARA outlet in the North Harbor Area of Malé today, further expanding its retail presence and strengthening service accessibility for its distribution partners.
This marks MIFCO’s fourth outlet in the capital city, reinforcing its strategic efforts to ensure easier access to its products within the central market area. The outlet will be open six days a week, from Saturday to Thursday, between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM.
Designed to support distribution partner businesses, the new MAS FIHAARA outlet offers a convenient hub for sourcing high-quality fish and fishery products directly from MIFCO. The location is expected to serve as a vital point of contact between the company and retailers, restaurants, and wholesalers operating in Malé’s densely populated commercial center.
MIFCO, a public enterprise dedicated to the production, processing, and marketing of fish and fishery products, continues to play a key role in the national fisheries sector. With a growing retail network, the company aims to meet the increasing demand for locally sourced, sustainably harvested seafood while also supporting the livelihoods of Maldivian fishermen.
The opening of this latest outlet is part of MIFCO’s ongoing strategy to bring its services closer to consumers and partners, ensuring efficient distribution and availability of its trusted fish products across the capital.
